In the far South of Mexico, situated between the Gulf and Guatemala you’ll find the state of Tabasco. Here in the US the state of Tabasco is much more famous for a particular type of chili pepper sauce but we think their cacao should be just as popular! This cacao is produced by Camino Cacao, whose aim is to empower communities through regenerative agriculture. They are doing amazing work providing training as well as a central processing and fermentation plant for hundreds of small farmers. This cacao makes a decadent, rich and fudgy milk chocolate. Like all Eigen Chocolates this bar is made with ethically traded cacao, sugar certified by the regenerative organic alliance, and compostable packaging.

This chocolate is gluten, dairy and soy free but all of our products are produced in a facility that handles dairy, tree nuts, peanuts, and soy.
